We recommend hair be about one-quarter inch (roughly 6–7 mm) or two to three weeks of growth so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too long we’ll trim it; if too short we may reschedule.

Some discomfort is normal, especially the first time, but our estheticians use quick techniques and calming aftercare to reduce pain. Most clients find it brief and tolerable, and regular waxing often becomes less uncomfortable over time.

Results vary by hair growth, but expect smoothness for around three to six weeks. Regular appointments can extend intervals as hair grows finer; we’ll recommend a personalized schedule based on your hair type and preferences.

Avoid shaving between waxes; shaving removes hair at the surface and prevents the wax from gripping properly at your next appointment. If needed, lightly trim longer hair, but do not shave for optimal waxing results.

Yes — avoid hot baths, tight clothing, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use recommended soothing lotions, keep the area clean, and gently exfoliate after a few days to help prevent ingrown hairs.

Clients with active skin infections, severe sunburn, recent chemical peels, or taking certain medications (like isotretinoin) should avoid waxing. Please inform our team of medications, pregnancy, or skin conditions so we can advise appropriately.
